Recognition

It isn't every day that you get the opportunity to steal two chardonnays from the same winemaker who created two bright and crisp wines from the same juice, one spending its time in oak and the other in stainless. In fact, the odds of a storied winemaker, whose latest production received a score of 96 points producing such a lot and not having a home for all this wine...almost zero! But we came across this opportunity by hook or by crook and there is no way we could resist! But the supply is limited. Just 56 cases of each were left, so don't miss out!

Tasting Notes

This wine has a light but vibrant color that matches the subtle hints of lemon that meet the nose. Its relatively light body, tannins, and acidity give it a refreshing mouth feel. This unoaked Chardonnay is ready to drink now and will pair well with anything being prepared while you work on your tan lines.

2021 White Blend

  • Bright sunshine, a warm sea breeze, and blue skies come to mind with this white blend. Whether you are actually where the sea meets the land, or just wishing you were there, this clean, crisp wine will do the job.  Pairs well with anything from Baja fish tacos to an afternoon cheese board, this wine dresses up or down to fit any occasion. It brings notes of citrus and lemon zest with light hints of honeydew and a light body that has substantial acidity with strong minerality.  Ready to drink now, but will cellar well for years to come, this white blend of Albariño and Grenache Blanc is an unbeatable value!

202o Reserve Chardonnay

  • The vibrant, but not overly done color of this wine lets you know it has spent some time in oak. The nose hints at summer apple and pear with a touch of floral. She boasts an elegant acidity and a smooth, but not over-the-top mouth feel. From first sip, it is obvious why this wine earned the coveted "reserve" label. Ready to drink now, this wine pairs well with chicken, fish, sand between your toes, and Sunday brunch at your favorite seaside villa.

Grüner Veltliner

  • Austria’s famous wine…but made at a high elevation in Colorado! The aroma on the nose is light with lemongrass and pear, but upon first taste, it’s bursting with flavor! This Grüner has mouth-watering acidity, green apple and grapefruit sourness, solid minerality, and a zingy finish. This light-body wine has tons of character, and you’ll enjoy sipping on this beauty year-round!

Grüner is quite different than our other white wines…think dry Riesling. And, the high acidity makes it an incredibly versatile and refreshing wine for pairing with various foods.
